Ernst van den Ende
Ernst van den Ende is Managing Director of the Animal Sciences Group of Wageningen University and Research. He has a background in plant sciences (epidemiology, ecology, plant pathology) but he also has a broad interest in data sciences, new phenotyping methods using sensors/cameras and other new technologies that can be used to improve breeding programs or to help the farmer.
He is member of the Wageningen Management Board, and is strongly involved in strategy, topsectors of NL, international collaboration, Startlife (start-up companies) and Shared Research facilities.
In the board of Breed4food he represents WUR/Animals Sciences Group.
