Erik Mullaart
Erik Mullaart is Senior Researcher at CRV Cattle breeding. His main fields of expertise are on Molecular biology, DNA technology and Embryo technology. But he also has a broad interest in new phenotyping methods using sensors/cameras and other new technologies that can be used within CRV to improve the breeding program of to help the farmer.
He is the CRV representative in the Breed4Food working group, which monitors the progress of the research and make plans for the next years. He also coordinates the implementation of the research results and tools within CRV. This implementation within CRV, but also at the other breeding companies, is crucial for the success of Breed4Food.
