ChickenStress European Training Network; EU Horizon 2020

This will be accomplished by an international team of 14 PhD students, based in 12 institutions who will engage in multidisciplinary projects, under the supervision of world experts in their fields. The ChickenStress European Training Network (ETN) is a group of projects that will assist egg producers to attain the highest possible welfare for chickens. Consumers care considerably about the welfare of animals and are increasingly motivated to purchase eggs produced in high welfare conditions. Participating partners of Breed4Food are Hendrix Genetics and Wageningen University & Research.
